Day 1 - Arrive Edinburgh and travel to the Trossachs, a wooded glen east of Ben Lomond and west of Loch Lomond in Sterling area. We pass majestic Sterling Castle and iconic Battle of Bannockburn area.
Day 2 - Cruise across Loch Katrine on the steamship of old days, Sir Walter Scott. Hike back along the shore so learn of Sir Walter Scott and how the legend of the Lady of the Lake was born.
Day 3 - Hike from Balmaha to Rowardennan along the shores of Loch Lomond, one of the most mesmerizing lochs at the heart of Scotland. It inspired may Scottish love songs.
Day 4 - Hike from Altnafeadh up the Devil's staircase to see the spectacular views of Glencoe glens and moors, to Kinlochleven, at the east end of the beautiful sea loch of Loch Leven.
Day 5 - Hike from Kinlochleven to Fort Williams enjoying spectacular mountain views. While in Fort Williams enjoy a bit of shopping and join us for an evening meal.
Day 6 - Enjoy a trip on the Harry Potter train to Mallaig. Then a leisurely trip back with a visit to the Glenfinnan Monument
Day 7 - We will visit the Monach of the Glen and get a wee dram, while learning about the making of Highland Scotch on our way back to Edinburgh.
All of this while staying at legendary award winning B&B, like the Clachaig Inn, visiting castles like Doulas Castle Balvenie Castle in Moray, enjoying fresh home cooked meals and finally maybe even a wee bit of shopping.
Fees:
$2500 per person based on two people sharing - if you are a single person and are willing to share we will match you up. A supplement of $350 for a single person
$300 due on booking the balance due 10 weeks before the departure.

If you cancel before the balance is due you will receive a full refund.
Once the balance is paid and the accommodations are lined up we are unable to offer a refund. Accommodations will start to be booked in March.
